The Joy of Being

Book Description

Collaboration between Paddy McMahon and a highly evolved spirit being known to him as Shebaka resulted in a series of books originally published in five volumes entitled The Grand Design. This book contains selected excerpts from the five volumes, with each page of text faced by a related illustration. The illustrations and the cover design are by Michel.

Living Without Fear

Book Description

Since he came to know about him, Paddy McMahon has been an admirer of Jiddhu Krishnamurti, the famous philosopher who lived on earth from 1895 to 1986, but never expected to have the privilege of communicating with him from another dimension of existence. This book is a record of those communications, which are presented as a dialogue between the spirit and human dimensions. As the title suggests, one of the main objects of the book is to help people to free themselves from fear and, in the process, to open doors to themselves, to let them see that nothing is hidden and that there is no cache of secret knowledge to which they are not entitled to have access.

A Free Spirit

Book Description

Margaret Anna Cusack (1829 - 1899) was internationally famous as The Nun of Kenmare. She was an Anglican nun who converted to Roman Catholicism and founded an order of nuns called Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace. She was a dogged and compassionate champion of the underprivileged and a pioneering spirit in the cause of equal rights for women. Due to her public profile, she was in continuing difficulties with Church authorities and reverted to Protestantism in 1889. Since 1978, Paddy McMahon has been aware of Margaret communicating with him as a spirit guide. Early in July 1998 she intimated that she wished to collaborate with him in writing a book. This book is a record of the dialogue between them. In a wide-ranging exploration of the life in all its aspects, she says: "I want to shout a big YES to life, to the death of death, if I may put it like that, so that anybody and everybody can say - 'I know my body is going to die, but I know, too, that there's nothing to fear in that - it's a celebration of continuing transformation in life'. I want to go into detail about how I express myself in my present state and what life in spirit, generally, is like..."

The Grand Design – III

Book Description

Sooner or later questions such as “Who/and what am I? Where did I come from? How can I find meaning in my life? How can I reduce the pain of self-realisation? What will happen to me when I die?” begin to niggle at each of us. This book provides answers that come from a spirit being named SHEBAKA. The Grand Design books, of which there are five volumes, explore life in all its aspects both in the physical world and in spirit. Inter alia, they explain how we came to inhabit physical bodies and what happens to us when we die; and they provide facts, concepts and suggestions designed to help us, in cooperation with our guides/guardian angels if we so wish, to find ever increasing happiness and fulfillment in our expression.

Amongst Equals

Book Description

The book 'Living Without Fear' initiated a series of dialogues between Jiddhu Krishnamurti (1895-1986) and Paddy McMahon (Patrick Francis). The dialogues continue in this book; they range over a wide variety of themes, for example, conditioning is whatever restricts one from being free in one's thoughts, people get themselves boxed into corner when they see themselves as having no choice but to continue as they are, there aren't real choices unless people are free in themselves, an ideal state of being is simply being true to yourself, what does being true to yourself mean to you? Being yourself does not require you to be a martyr under any circumstances, aggression spawns counter aggression in spiralling patterns of negative energy that spreads across and around the Universe.

Peacemonger

Book Description

Since 1978 Paddy McMahon has been aware that one of his spirit guides lived on Earth from 1829 to 1899 as Margaret Anna Cusack, who was internationally famous as The Nun of Kenmare - a prolific writer, a dogged and compassionate champion of the underprivileged and a pioneering spirit in the cause of equal rights for women. This book is written as a form of dialogue between Margaret Anna and Paddy. The topics covered include suggestions towards achievement of easier communication between the spirit and physical dimensions, as well as helping souls who may be feeling lost or confused after the death of their physical bodies. Margaret Anna uses the stories of individual souls (whose identities are not revealed) to highlight how common sources of isolation and sadness can be transformed into joyful outcomes.
