There are three hospitals: Rex and Mary Elizabeth for white people and St. Agnes for negroes. There are two theatres and four movies, two orphanages, 49 wholesale houses, dealing chiefly in groceries, drugs and chemicals, furniture and sheet metal ware, farm implements, etc., in Raleigh.
