William Brinton (1632-1699/1700) married Ann Bagley, and immigrated from England to Chester (now Delaware) County, Pennsylvania. Direct descendant David Brinton (1814-1878), a Mormon convert, moved to Illinois and later to Salt Lake City, Utah. Descendants of David lived in Utah, Idaho, Arizona, Nevada, California and elsewhere.

Ancestors and descendants of David Branson Brinton (1882-1956) born in Holladay, Salt Lake Co., Utah to David Branson Brinton (1850-1929) and Susan Erepta Huffaker (1859-1910) of Salt Lake City, Ut., and his wife Ethel Simons (1885-1967), the daughter of Albert Lee Simons (1863-1948) and Clara Elizabeth Knight (1866-1950) of Murray, Salt Lake Co., Utah. The Brintons had been temple workers in the Salt Lake Temple for 26 years and were released July 1, 1955. Descendants live in Utah, California, Arizona, New York, and else- where.
