Do It With Words

Book Description

Regrow Lost Hair and Restore Its Natural Color to Gray Hair - Do It With Your Mind Do It With Words - No "Magic" Potions or Lotions Needed You can make changes to your body with your mind? What nonsense! Snake oil! B-S! That’s what some people will tell you. So let me show you in a few seconds how wrong they are. Close your eyes. Imagine looking at a juicy half lemon that you hold in your hand. Now imagine squeezing it and seeing its juices flow. When you start salivating, open your eyes and go on reading. You just saw how your mind affects your body and turns your salivary glands on. It can also make your hair follicles go back to work. Let’s be realistic: The method taught in this book will not give you back the same thick hair that you had in high school. Hair loss and graying is a natural process. We can slow it down, reverse it to some extent, but we cannot make it go away altogether. If you are reading these lines, it means that you are worried because you are losing hair or graying fast, and the first thing to do is to stop that process. Too many people make money by selling useless preparations; they don’t want you to hear a simple secret: You already hold the power to make it better. You just need to learn how to use it. If you carefully follow the technique taught in this book, hair loss will stop or significantly slow down. Then, you will see hair growing back in places where it had stopped growing a long time ago. You can also restore color to your hair, which may not be exactly the color you had in your teens (mine grew of a color darker than before), but it will look and feel better, and so will you. You already have what you need to succeed – your mind. You don’t have to buy anything or to concoct any “magic” potion. You must understand how your mind communicates its orders to your body, and learn how to make this channel of communication work to improve the health of your hair. In fact, as you will see when you read the book, this is a particular application of a general principle that you can exploit in many other areas. But I want to be very clear: There is no magic wand in the book. Achieving a positive result requires a will to succeed. Your mind runs your body and you have to learn how to put it to work for you. The good news is that when you begin to use the techniques taught in the book, you also start to reap benefits immediately, which adds to your motivation to succeed. Two highly respected practitioners in the field expressed their opinion of the value of this technique: “It’s a wonderful application of something that I have believed in for many years now – the power of mind over body . . . This technique is worthy of serious attention.” - Michael J. Hadfield, D. Hyp., MBSCH “Kfir Luzzatto . . . has laid down a path for you to reach many goals traditionally considered difficult or impossible. I see Kfir as very much a visionary pioneer in the mind-body field. We are fortunate to read what he has discovered and reveals . . .” - Forbes Robbins Blair Do It With Words is a straightforward guide into the power of your mind. I am a former skeptic, who reformed after witnessing how mind-body practices deliver tangible results. The book provides visual proof and a precise blueprint of the mind-body experiment in which I succeeded in my attempt to regrow lost hair and to restore its natural color to gray hair. The book describes in precise detail how I: regrew lost hair;restored its natural, dark brown color to my previously white hair;used self-hypnosis, guided imagery and meditation to achieve all results without the aid of any external preparation. So You're Going Bald!

Book Description

Educational, uplifting, and thoroughly hilarious, this rollicking “bald memoir” is a one-stop guide to appreciating life as you lose your hair, and offers dating, grooming, marriage, sex, and even toupee advice for bald men and the people who claim to love them. Humorist and comedy television writer Julius Sharpe woke up on 9/11 to his own personal disaster: his hair was falling out. So You’re Going Bald is his hilarious odyssey—a tale filled with despair, horror, acceptance, and humor that everyone can relate to, whether you’re nineteen or approaching ninety—or are simply bald-curious. As Julius tells it, going bald is for-real traumatic. Losing his hair preoccupied his days and kept him up Googling every night for five straight years. He suffered in private, but now he’s making it his mission that no cue ball will live alone with the agony of hair loss ever again. Sharpe examines what it means to be hairless up top, and walks you through how to look at yourself in the mirror and not want to die. He outlines the three stages of baldness (anger, more anger, even more anger), and volunteers himself as a guinea pig, testing laser helmets, plugs, and toupees. So You’re Going Bald is one-part tough love and one-part inspiration . . . the same way that Fran Drescher’s Cancer Schmancer inspired a cure for schmancer. We all know someone who is bald, or going bald, or got their hair cut way too short. In So You’re Going Bald, Sharper provides an emotional roadmap for living life in the bald lane, giving voice to what it feels like to know that “grass doesn’t grow on a busy street.”

Would Everybody Please Stop?

Book Description

Finalist for the Thurber Prize for American Humor "One of the funniest writers in America." That’s what The New Yorker’s Andy Borowitz calls Jenny Allen—and with good reason. In her debut essay collection, the longtime humorist and performer declares no subject too sacred, no boundary impassable. With her eagle eye for the absurd and hilarious, Allen reports from the potholes midway through life’s journey. One moment she’s flirting shamelessly—and unsuccessfully—with a younger man at a wedding; the next she’s stumbling upon X-rated images on her daughter’s computer. She ponders the connection between her ex-husband’s questions about the location of their silverware, and the divorce that came a year later. While undergoing chemotherapy, she experiments with being a “wig person.” And she considers those perplexing questions that we never pause to ask: Why do people say “It is what it is”? What’s the point of fat-free half-and-half ? And haven’t we heard enough about memes? Jenny Allen’s musings range fluidly from the personal to the philosophical. She writes with the familiarity of someone telling a dinner party anecdote, forgoing decorum for candor and comedy. To read Would Everybody Please Stop? is to experience life with imaginative and incisive humor.

The Maliniak Method

Book Description

Announcing A Major Break-Through In The Science Of Hair Loss And Male Pattern Baldness A radical new theory has recently been published which explains that HAIR LOSS and MALE PATTERN BALDNESS are really caused by TWO factors and not just one, as was previously thought. Stop Hair Loss and Grow New Hair with the Maliniak Method The first factor, which is the radical new element, is the third layer of the TOP of the scalp called the GALEA which becomes very "tight" in some people, disrupts ordinary blood flow to the follicles and sets in motion the sequence of events which triggers hair loss. The role of the GALEA has been debated for years, but this new theory provides the rationale for concluding that it must be involved because men only go bald in the areas where this GALEA exists and nowhere else. The second factor is still dihydrotestosterone (DHT) which this new theory now states only accumulates due to this restricted blood flow and which is still the actual "killer" of follicles, as per the conventional wisdom. Even more significantly, this theory also concludes that "dormant" follicles can in fact be revived to produce hair again contrary to everything we were previously told. The new theory is called the MALINIAK METHOD and is published by BORN AGAIN, The Alternate Science Company. More importantly, this theory also provides a simple new two-step treatment method which first relaxes the GALEA with simple massage techniques to restore proper blood flow to the top of the scalp. It then stimulates the dormant follicles to produce hair again with an electrical stimulation device which revives the use of an old established science derived from NIKOLA TESLA. It has been around for one hundred years and is still being used to this day but in other applications. It has been adopted and adapted in the MALINIAK METHOD to treat HAIR LOSS because that is one of the purposes it was used for originally. Two independent scientific studies have recently been published which confirm the validity of the TWO main premises of the MALINIAK METHOD. One of them is from the CROWN institute in Pickering, Ontario, which confirms that the GALEA is in fact involved in hair loss and male pattern baldness. It also concludes that a reduction in the oxygen going to the follicles causes DHT to be overproduced, adding another explanation for why this "tightness" of the scalp is at the root of this problem. The second study is from the University of Pennsylvania which found that certain types of STEM CELLS called "progenitor" cells are more numerous in non-bald areas and that these dormant cells can in fact be induced to become "progenitor" cells, in effect, be "revived" and induced to produce hair again, contrary to the previous knowledge and as predicted by the MALINIAK METHOD.
