Delftware has been produced for more than two hundred years in thirty different factories specialized in this type of earthenware. During this time, tens of thousands of men and women have worked in Delft to create a product with a truly European look. The five sections in this publication tell about the potteries, the successes and disappointments of the people who worked in them and the beautiful decorated earthenware itself.
