Chiefly, a record of some ancestors of the author's great grandparents Benjamin Franklin Brown (1814-1884) and Catherine Ann Hallonquist (1830-1894). Benjamin was born in Barnwell, South Carolina. Catherine was born in Hanover County, Virginia. They had seven children. They both died in Barnwell, South Carolina. Ancestors include Dr. Wilson Brown (1787-1829) and Elizabeth Lee Brown (1796-1860), John Brown (born before 1760), Benjamin Brown II (born ca. 1730-1781), and Benjamin Brown I (d. 1762). Benjamin and Catherine's ancestors lived in South Carolina, Virginia, England, Sweden and elsewhere.
