This report presents the results from a Remedial Investigation (RI) for two sites at the Utah Air National Guard (UANG) Base located in Salt Lake City, Utah. Stone & Webster Engineering Corporation (Stone & Webster) performed the work for the Air National Guard (ANG) Readiness Center under Task No. 2 of Contract No. DAHA9O-94-D-0009. The two sites investigated are identified as Installation Restoration Program (IRP) Site 8, a former underground storage tank (UST) location, and IRP Site 10, an existing petroleum, oil, and lubricants (POL) yard. The RI was conducted as outlined in the Remedial Investigation/Feasibility Study (RI/FS) Work Plan prepared by Stone & Webster and submitted to and approved by the ANG in May 1993. The field work associated with the RI was performed in June, July, and August 1995.

The purpose of the Remedial Investigation/Feasibility Study Report is to provide a comprehensive description of Kotzebue LRRS, including the installation's operational history and environmental setting; a summary of past IRP investigations at the site; a detailed description of the 1994 remedial investigation; a site conceptual model integrating available site information; and site-specific summaries and recommendations. This document also incorporates a feasibility study which identifies cleanup objectives, evaluates various remedial action alternatives, and recommends appropriate actions to meet cleanup objectives.

This document is the Remedial Investigation Report Addendum for IRP Site No. 6, Arizona National Guard, 161st Air Refueling Group, Sky Harbor International Airport, Phoenix, Arizona. This is the first volume of a two volume addendum to the Remedial Investigation Report, May 1996. Site 6. POL Facility was investigated under the Installation Restoration Program. Soil and groundwater samples were collected and analyzed. Remedial Action was recommended for both groundwater and soil associated with the site.
