Many of us planned for a different future, and then all this happened, making that future no longer feasible. The art of re-invention is the most important skill to have when responding to similar life-altering events. In this book, I help you on the journey of re-invention. With it, you will also be able to help your children on their path early enough. I started writing this book a few years ago after I heard the phrase, “Today is the first day of the rest of your life”. I am ever more conscious of the fact that today is the beginning of what time I have left. I have written this book with that persuasion, hoping to help you find a new tempo for your steps. Find ways to anticipate the future, to prepare for that future and to re-engineer that future. How does one avoid obsoletion? How long does it take, standing on this very spot, to become obsolete?
