This book contains true events from the eyes of a single mom. She journeys through giving her life to Christ, an unplanned pregnancy, and finding her way to trust God in spite of the hardships of single motherhood. All the while journaling her most intimate feelings. Valaniecia better known as Val was a single mother for 5 years. Fresh out of college and starting a career in sales, she thought that she was on the right path to finding success. One day she visited a friend's church and there gave her life to Christ. She never expected all that would come afterwards. Two months later, Val found out she was pregnant by a man who had no desire to be with her, and there, her journey started as a single pregnant woman and would later lead to her journey through single motherhood. She dealt with abortion pressures, child support, custody, and self-esteem issues.The author's desire is that single mothers and women who are pregnant would find encouragement in Journal's of a Single Mom: A Journey to Faith and Trusting God in the Process. There is no situation too big for God to handle. Although some days can seem harder than others, you can make it! I want you to read my story and how I made it through.
