Kincaid-Claypool Descendants


Book Description

Tom Kincaid was born ca. 1795, the son of Samuel Kincaid of Greenbrier County Virginia. He left a wife and probably twelve children when he and Lucinda Claypool (b. 1816) left Fayette County, Virginia and settled in Lewis County, Virginia (now West Virginia) in the 1840's. They had four children, 1850-186-. Descendants lived in West Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania and elsewhere.

Mose Shuck (1784-1857) was born in Virginia. He married Mary Ann Fleshman (1781-1849), daughter of Samuel and Mary Ann Orebach Fleshman, in 1804 in Greenbrier County, Virginia [West Virginia]. They had thirteen children, 1805?-1830. Mose and Mary Ann Shuck died in Greenbrier County. Descendants listed lived in West Virginia, Ohio, and elsewhere.

Samuel Combest and His Descendants


Book Description

Samuel Combest was born in 1792 in Chester County, South Carolina, the son of John and Ann Combest. He married Sarah (Sallie) Dick, daughter of John Dick, a Revolutionary War soldier, in 1799. They settled on land in Pulaski County, Kentucky. They had ten children, 1801-1818. He died in Russell County, Kentucky, in 1844. Descendants lived in Kentucky, Illinois, Missouri, Texas, Kansas, California, and elsewhere.
