On an August day, in Zimbabwe, a newborn black rhino lost his mother. Because black rhinos are critically endangered and knowing that the calf would not survive without help, a park ranger made an astonishing decision: he took the rhino home. Chizi’s Tale is the story of how one of Africa’s fiercest animals was raised by a remarkable family until it was time to return him to the wild.

"I Play the Bad Guy" follows a team of retired ex-military superheroes and pits them against a younger team of non-powered soldiers sent to contain them. The morality of granting the older heroes powers during Cold War experiments by the U.S. Government is explored throughout the course of the series as they try to prevent the next generation of powered soldiers from being created.

This book is about a little boy of ten, Gagan, who lives in the city of Calcutta with his parents. His grandmother lives in a village by the forest and runs a small hospital for the animals. The jungle animals instinctively love and trust Amma, and limp over to the hospital whenever one of them in wounded or unwell. A naughty but affectionate monkey, a parrot, a rabbit, a baby deer, a peacock, a fox and a cow elephant are some of the patients Gagan meets at his grandmother s clinic. Gagan is enchanted with the animals and Amma s jungle hospital. A charming story of animals and human beings, the book will delight children as well as help them understand the need for conserving wildlife and forests.

Moral African Folktales for all ages. African Folktales are common to most of the tribes and peoples of Africa. Different cultures, whilst sharing a common point of reference, will colour each story with their own rich, unique heritage. These tales by tradition were handed down by word of mouth through the ages, to be enjoyed by young and old alike. Honouring tradition, I have tried to keep the "voice" of the original storytellers of old, in the same manner in which they spoke centuries ago. Contractions have been left out, since they were not the mode of speech in those bygone days. In Africa, myths and tall tales abound, around the next mountain, through yonder valley, you will find a story that almost sounds the same as one you have heard before. Thus, there are many versions of each tale. I believe this story captures the essence of originality, having been acquire from established oral traditions, thereby preserving uniqueness. The folktales of Africa have inspired countless expeditions in search of mysteries and treasures, from golden mountains, to lost tribes, to amazing animals. How did they get there? How were they made? Were they kind or fierce? Were they friendly or terrifying? Yes, some were gentle, some were vicious, but all had a story to tell. Who are they? What do they stand for, what nature do they have? All beings have traits of one kind or another, it is these which are discovered in folktales. This story has been built upon ancient traditions. As an African-born author, I owe a debt of gratitude to all our ancestors who passed down wonderful fables and tales, from which this story is derived. It is to them, I dedicate this book.

"The Xhosa ntsomi (sing. intsomi; pl. iintsomi) is a performing art which has, as its dynamic mainspring, a core-cliché (a song, chant, or saying) which is, during a performance, developed, expanded, detailed, and dramatized before an audience which is itself composed of performers, everyone in a Xhosa society being a potential performer."--Introduction.
