Historia del Arte Iberoamericano muestra la evolución de la arquitectura, la pintura, la escultura y otras modalidades artísticas, desde la perspectiva de su integración en el proceso de la evolución cultural del continente a partir de fines del siglo XV. Esta historia del arte intenta encontrar el equilibrio entre las aportaciones europeas y de otras procedencias a la cultura americana, analizar los procesos de adaptación y cambios que estas aportaciones implicaron y, al mismo tiempo, insistir en las peculiaridades propias de las culturas del continente americano en sus diversas manifestaciones.
