The value in this book is having a thorough work vetting World Silver Coins from approximately 1870 to 1970, in a size that can easily be carried by hand or in a briefcase to a club meeting, to a coin show, or to an appraisal, or simply at home with Grandfather's hoard. The reader will often be alerted to the designs, denominations, and dates of the rarest coins to retain for further study (and profit!). Conversely, those coins which do not have numismatic significance still have value in today's market as silver bullion, and this book provides the tools for the method of determining just how much one can expect to receive when remitting the coins to reputable dealers.
