From his unique position as a Jewish scholar of the New Testament, Dr. Sandmel has written A Jewish Understanding of the New Testament, We Jews and Jesus, The First Christian Century, The Genius of Paul and The Hebrew Scriptures, among his many previous books. This collection brings together an important body of his work that has been all but inaccessible to the general reader and often difficult for the scholar to locate.
