Autograph album kept by Susan C. Vogl from 1871 to 1874. It includes pro-woman suffrage inscriptions and quotations by participants in the second Woman Suffrage Bazar, held December 11-22, 1871 at the Music Hall in Boston, Massachusetts, and the World's Peace Jubilee and International Music Festival in Boston in June and July of 1872, and several others. Inscribers include prominent women and suffragists, famous musicians (some of whom have written snippets of notated music) and others. Women and suffragists: Ednah D. Cheney; Geo. S. Foss, Librarian of the Somerville Public Library, to Ashton Lewis, of Melrose Highland, Massachusetts, dated May 25, 1910; 1 signed typescript letter from R.S. MacArthur to Mr. Lewis, dated 4 June 1910; and 1 Illinois College student evaluation form, filled out in manuscript, for John K.[?] Shaws, dated 6 February 1846, and on the verso addressed to Deacon Joseph Shaws, Jacksonville, Illinois.
