And Sally (winston) Menzies, both natives of Kentucky, where the name of Menzies has been prominent in the annals of the state for fully a century. In his day Doctor Menzies was an eminent physician. When the Civil war broke out he enlisted as surgeon of the First Ken tucky regiment and served in that capacity.
