Thomas H. Tongue, who has for the past six years represented his State and district in this body with honor and distinction. At a suitable time I shall ask that a day be set apart for paying tribute to his character and distinguished public services. Tongue, a Representative in this House from the First district of Oregon. Resolved, That the House do now adjourn, out of respect to the memory of the deceased member. Resolved, That the Clerk of the House communicate a copy of these resolutions to the Senate. The Speaker. The question is on agreeing to the resolutions. The resolutions were unanimously agreed to.
