In this issue we will continue the four lines of ministry that began in the first issue of Ministry Digest (vol. 1, no. 1). The first line--The History of the Lord's Recovery--continues with chapters 4 through 7 of The Vital Groups, which covers an important development in the history of the practices in the Lord's recovery--the practice of meeting according to vital groups. These chapters are in volume 5 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1994–1997, and they speak of being the new creation to become God's oracle for His dispensing and spreading, the great commission of Christ in resurrection, and shepherding and teaching in the vital groups. The second line--Words for New Believers--continues with chapters 15 through 18 of Basic Lessons on Life, which are in volume 1 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1979. These chapters speak of the sense of the spirit and knowing the spirit, the human spirit, the exercise of the spirit generally, and the exercise of the spirit unto godliness specifically. The third line--Maturing in Life--continues with chapters 13 through 16 of Knowing Life and the Church, which are in volume 1 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1953. These chapters speak of the spiritual requirements of a Christian and the standard for testing these requirements, the reality of the church and the experience of the cross, God's work of redemption being the mingling of God and man, and the matter of all service being initiated by God. The fourth line--The High Peak of the Divine Revelation--continues with the final chapter of The God-man Living, which is in volume 3 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1994–1997. This chapter speaks of the living of Christ, the first God-man, as a man of prayer. The line then continues with chapters 1 through 3 of a new book, The Application of the Interpretation of the New Jerusalem to the Seeking Believers, which are in volume 3 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1994–1997. These chapters focus on the spiritual significance and base of the New Jerusalem and the spiritual application of its gates, wall, and foundations.

In this issue we will continue four lines of ministry. These chapters cover the perfecting of the saints by the gifts, prophesying for the building up of the church as the organic Body of Christ, and how to carry out the New Testament priesthood of the gospel according to the Lord's up-to-date recovery. The second line--Words for New Believers--contains chapters 25 and 26 of Crucial Truths in the Holy Scriptures, Volume 2, and chapters 27 and 28 of Crucial Truths in the Holy Scriptures, Volume 3, which are in volume 3 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1932–1949. These chapters cover topics related to being led by the Lord, doing the will of God, being filled with the Holy Spirit, and preaching the gospel. The third line--Maturing in Life--begins with chapters 1 through 4 of a new book, The Kingdom, which are in volume 2 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1972. These chapters speak of the kingdom in the New Testament, the coming of the kingdom and its process, God's goal being the kingdom, and the seed of the kingdom. The fourth line--The High Peak of the Divine Revelation--continues with chapters 18 through 21 of God's New Testament Economy, which are in volume 3 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1984. These chapters cover the Spirit of Christ, the anointing Spirit, and the seven Spirits.

In this issue we will continue four lines of ministry. This section includes fellowship concerning the outpouring of the Holy Spirit for the baptizing of all the believers into one Body, the ministry of Christ in His ascension, and the rapture of the saints. The second line--Words for New Believers--contains the concluding chapters of Crucial Truths in the Holy Scriptures, Volume 6, chapters 58 through 60, which are in volume 4 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1932–1949. These chapters cover the subjects of paradise and the lake of fire, the rapture of the believers, and the second coming of Christ. This section then continues with chapter 1 of a new book, The Crucial Revelation of Life in the Scriptures, which is in volume 2 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1969. This chapter covers the matter of life as seen in Genesis 1. The third line--Maturing in Life--contains chapters 49 and 50 of The Kingdom, which are in volume 2 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1972. These chapters cover the exercise of the kingdom and a rich entrance into the kingdom. This section then continues with chapters 1 and 2 of a new book, Perfecting Training, which are in volume 1 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1980. These chapters contain an opening word concerning the perfecting training and a word on the damage of opinion. The fourth line--The High Peak of the Divine Revelation--continues with chapters 22 through 25 of Crystallization-study of the Epistle to the Romans, which are in volume 1 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1994–1997. These chapters cover the grace of God and the announcing of the gospel.

The second line--Words for New Believers--contains chapters 10 and 11 of The Basic Revelation in the Holy Scriptures, which are in volume 3 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1983. These chapters cover the New Jerusalem--the ultimate consummation. Then this line continues with chapters 1 and 2 of a new book, Fellowshipping with the Lord for the Mingling of God with Man, which are in volume 3 of The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1961–1962. These chapters cover the two aspects of prayer being fellowship and inquiring and also learning to fellowship with God and being used by Him. These chapters cover the Triune God's revelation and His move in the New Testament and also the visions and God's move.
