Excerpt from Minutes of the Forty-Sixth Annual Session of the Judson Baptist Association: Held With Tolbert Baptist Church; Henry County, Alabama, Oct; 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 1896 The Association assembled at the appointed time, and was called to order by A. J. Preston, the former Moderator being absent. The 1l6th Psalm was read and prayer offered by Eld A. R. Hardy. A letter from Bro. J. B. Ward, the former Mod erdtor, giving his reasons for being absent, and nominating Bro W. J. Martin, for temporary Moderator, was then read. Bro Martin was called to the chair and proceeded to organize the body. Letters from the churches were read by Dr. P. T. Hale, and Eld. A. R. Hardy, and names of delegates enrolled, as fol lows.
