Book Description

This brief four-skills text presents only the grammar structures essential for beginning Spanish students and follows a simple chapter sequence. Each lesson is divided into three sections: Graficos, which presents the chapter's vocabulary and informally introduces grammar, Gramatica Esencial, which offers concise grammar explanations plus exercises, and Comunicacion, which includes realia and/or short reading texts, as well as partner/pair activities. Following every third lesson, Ampliaciones sections include reading strategies, cultural readings, and self-tests. Instructors manuals, tapes and software are available.
