This U.S. Dept. of Census Survey gathers information on the number of anglers, hunters, & wildlife-watching participants in the U.S. Information also is collected on how often these recreationists participate & how much they spend on their activities. Preparations for this 2001 Survey began in 1999 when the International Association of Fish & Wildlife Agencies asked the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service to conduct the 10th national survey of wildlife-related recreations.
