Next Beautiful Blossoms - Grayscale Colouring Book for Adults (Low Contrast)

Book Description

Paint and color 36 black and white photos like a master. Lech Balcerzak shows that any image can be turned into a work of art using multi-layer artistic colouring. Inside this book you will find bright, crisp, stunning photos of flowers ready to paint or colour. Previously, Lech showed HCS (contrasting) and Deshading (less details) styles, which were very popular. See, for example, this book, which is all created in the style of HCS: https: //www.amazon.com/dp/1728772753 From the Author - About the Old Book: It is not true that the colouring book must be bright. That book had good reviews because it included beautiful, enlarged pictures of flowers, although it had high contrast and a gray background. But on the back cover you can see in colour, how to use dark fragments to increase the contrast and get beautiful colour effects. You could also use opaque acrylic paint if you wanted to brighten the images. In general, the book was very easy to colour, even for beginners or older children. You could use "naive colouring", this means - less work. About the New Book: This time, Lech posted the same moody photos, but they are brightened (pale). If you don't like too dark or contrasting images - this book is for you. Also, if you want to reach more than a "naive colouring" - this book is for you too. This book will take you to a higher level of colouring, which I called "hybrid, artistic colouring" because you can use pictures as sketches. On these sketches, just like a professional artist, you simply paint your own paintings using advanced painting technique and many different media: coloured pencils, white and black fineliners, then pastel pencils (are better than classic pastels) and acrylic paints. You can get dazzling effects, you just need to do some rehearsals to gain experience. So, do not give up. L. In addition, the book has many tips and descriptions of tools that you can use, including magnets and a special board for painting. Just cut a page from the book and put it in the magnetic board, and colouring will become even more convenient and pleasant. The Print: Images are printed on one side on pure white paper weighing 55 pounds. In addition, they are printed on the entire page, making them massively large and easy to colour. Also, using our images as sketches, you can colour, paint and improve your painting skills. Add your own shading and details, draw a small flower, add a shadow or a ray of sunshine. Just add a beautiful mood to every picture. See colourful examples (left side of the screen). Write to the Author: Inside this book you will also find a private email to Lech and you can ask him for anything you want. You can write in English or French.

Next Beautiful Blossoms (Paper Deluxe 60lb) - Grayscale Coloring Book for Adults (Low Contrast)

Book Description

Paint and color like a master. Inside this book you will find 36 bright, crisp, stunning photos of flowers ready to paint or color. Lech Balcerzak shows that any image can be turned into a work of art using multi-layer artistic coloring. The Good Quality: Images are printed on one side on pure white, premium paper weighing 60 pounds. In addition, they are printed on the entire page, making them massively large and easy to color. In my art I prefer acrylics, oil paints, and colored pencils (including metalic colors by Coloré), you can also try watercolors, because the paper is thicker. But I think, watercolors are too transparent to color grayscale. To get vivid colors use opaque acrylic paints instead. Just try this all. You will gain experience with time. The tools: Lech advices - Colorful pencils alone and a desire are not enough. To get beautiful effects and have fun, it's best to buy all this tools below: - colored pencils with a tough core (e.g. Prismacolor Premiers) - colored pencils with a hard core (Shuttle Art) for darker fragments - a set of brushes (including a very small brush for painting details) - a set of acrylic paints of any company - pastel pencils (Stabilo CarbOthello, are better than classic pastels) - a set of markers - Kenting Magnetic Pad K4M with strong magnets - a special knife for cutting pages (names: Craft Knife, Snap Off Knife) - and if you want to try: a set of good watercolors ! Do not use blending stumps (can destroy the print) The more different tools, the better the fun will be. You don't have to have everything, but you'll see that when you have more tools, painting is more interesting and looks more and more professional. Description: Previously, Lech showed HCS (contrasting) and Deshading (less details) styles, which were very popular. The Lantern House

Book Description

From the nationally beloved co-host of the #1 hit show Home Town comes the quintessential celebration of home. Imagine a house's early days as a home: A young family builds a picket fence and plants flowers in its yard, children climb the magnolia tree and play the piano in the living room, and there is music inside the house for many happy years. But what will happen when its windows grow dark, its paint starts to crumble, and its boards creak in the winter wind? The house dreams of a family who will love it again...and one day, a new story will emerge from within its walls. In this modern classic, Erin Napier’s lyrical prose and Adam Trest’s warm and comforting paintings deeply evoke the soul of a house cherishing the seasons of life and discovering the joy of rebirth.

Make Something Good Today

Book Description

From Ben and Erin Napier, the stars of the hit HGTV show Home Town, comes Make Something Good Today, a memoir that tells us all to seek out the good in life, celebrate the beauty of family and friends, and prosper within our communities because everything we need in life to be happy, is within our grasp. Long before their hugely popular TV show, an expanding family, or demolition day on their dream home, Erin began keeping a daily online journal to help her stay focused on the positive and count her blessings in life. She never expected that her depictions of small-town life in the tiny swath of Mississippi where she Ben call home would catch the eye of a television producer and set them off on the journey of a lifetime. Make Something Good Today offers a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the struggles and triumphs of a couple that America has come to know and love for their easy humor, adoring relationship, and ability to utterly transform a place into something beautiful and personal. This is the poignant story of how Erin and Ben took a small, tight-knit town into their own hands (literally) and used ingenuity, community, and authenticity to rebuild a once-thriving American Main Street. And how, by combining Ben’s carpentry skills with Erin’s design eye, Home Town is making it clear to us all that small-town living can feel as big as you make it. Complete with family photographs, Erin’s hand-painted sketches, and never-before-heard personal stories, this inspirational memoir reminds us all not to give up hope that great love stories are possible, big things can bloom in small towns, and there is always magic in the ordinary if you know where to look for it.

But that doesn't make it harder -- in fact, it makes it easier to get stunning results! For tips, search online for "grayscale coloring." //////////////////////////////////////////////// ABOUT THE CHILDREN'S BOOK This coloring book is adapted from the children's picture book "The Baker's Dozen: A Saint Nicholas Tale," retold by Aaron Shepard and illustrated by Wendy Edelson. ABOUT THE AUTHOR Aaron Shepard is the award-winning author of many children's books from publishers large and small. Once a professional storyteller, Aaron specializes in lively retellings of folktales and other traditional literature, which have won him honors from the American Library Association, the New York Public Library, the Bank Street College of Education, the National Council for the Social Studies, and the American Folklore Society. After first hearing the legend of the baker's dozen from storyteller Sheila Dailey, Aaron retold the story himself with the help of texts dating as far back as 1896.

Blindsight

Book Description

Hugo and Shirley Jackson award-winning Peter Watts stands on the cutting edge of hard SF with his acclaimed novel, Blindsight Two months since the stars fell... Two months of silence, while a world held its breath. Now some half-derelict space probe, sparking fitfully past Neptune's orbit, hears a whisper from the edge of the solar system: a faint signal sweeping the cosmos like a lighthouse beam. Whatever's out there isn't talking to us. It's talking to some distant star, perhaps. Or perhaps to something closer, something en route. So who do you send to force introductions with unknown and unknowable alien intellect that doesn't wish to be met? You send a linguist with multiple personalities, her brain surgically partitioned into separate, sentient processing cores. You send a biologist so radically interfaced with machinery that he sees x-rays and tastes ultrasound. You send a pacifist warrior in the faint hope she won't be needed. You send a monster to command them all, an extinct hominid predator once called vampire, recalled from the grave with the voodoo of recombinant genetics and the blood of sociopaths. And you send a synthesist—an informational topologist with half his mind gone—as an interface between here and there. Pray they can be trusted with the fate of a world. They may be more alien than the thing they've been sent to find. At the Publisher's request, this title is being sold without Digital Rights Management Software (DRM) applied.
