North Carolina Trends in Nursing

Book Description

This report takes a long-range view of changes in the nursing workforce in North Carolina. Graphs and data tables show how the supply of RNs and LPNs has changed over time and relative to changes in the size of the general population in the state. These supply counts are provided in three different ways, the total number of nurses holding an active license to practice, the total number of nurses who report being employed in a nursing position in the state, and the estimated number of full time equivalent nurses in the workforce.
