We come into this unity by the love of Christ. "To be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment-to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ."(Ephesians 1:10, NIV, emphasis added)This book is about having the unity of Christ in our heart."And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity."(Colossians 3:14, NIV, emphasis added)Love is the glue that holds us together in unity. Unity with Christ is everything. Unity without Christ has no lasting value.There is strength in unity. Becoming one with others makes us stronger than we could ever be alone.Disunity (division and disagreement) brings about destruction, downfall, and dissolvement of countries, households, families, marriages, and businesses.There is strength in unity, and there is weakness in disunity. Our countries motto, E. Pluribus Unum, is Latin for "Out of many, one". We have many states which need to come together as one. We have many diverse peoples, races, and political affiliations that need to come together as one. We could then have strength in unity. We could then become an undivided country.This book is about strength in unity. It is about becoming one through Jesus Christ. This book is about becoming unified in our marriages, families, businesses, churches and country.It is the author's prayer that we become one; that we become unified in all these areas.
