Using the Contemporary English Version of the American Bible Society, this Bible is designed to help anyone working with new converts, especially those who have had a life-controlling problem and who are struggling to maintain a victorious life in Christ. This study bible's commentary notes placed throughout the Old and New Testament texts are rich, practical, encouraging and challenging. They are the culmination of over 50 years of frontlines ministry experiences of Don Wilkerson, the co-founder of Teen Challenge and Times Square Church. Included are inspirational and instructional quotes taken from various leaders in the church today and throughout the centuries. Each note is categorized and indexed in the Topical Index, making this an extremely valuable tool for personal Bible study. There is wisdom, encouragement and instruction here for everyone, no matter who you are where you're from. One of the greatest unreached and un-evangelized harvest fields in the world are those addicted to opioids and other chemical substances. Many are seeking help in the Higher Power of all Powers, which is Jesus Christ. However, what happens when they do turn their lives over to God? This Study Bible can be just the right teaching tool to place in their hands.

The Bible speaks differently of the transference of spirits from the secular world. It speaks of the transference of the anointing of the Holy Spirit from one person to another person or people. This will result in the person or people to whom the spirit has been transferred, walking in similar or even greater manifestation of the Spirit than the person from whom it was transferred. We see this in Elisha, who did twice as much miracles as his spiritual father Elijah, after he received the mantle or transference of his twain spirit. The Bible records that exactly twice as much miracles were done in the ministry of Elisha to that of Elijah. Elijah's last miracle (the parting of River Jordan) was Elisha's first. Consequently, he took off from where his spiritual father had stopped and advanced further beyond him.

This collection of essays celebrates the contribution of John Tudno Williams to the church, to biblical scholarship and teaching, and to the culture of Wales. Written by biblical scholars, historians, theologians, and authorities on Welsh culture, the papers gather around the central theme of the Bible: its interpretation and exegesis and its place in hymns as well as in the visual culture of Welsh Presbyterianism, in theological colleges, and in theological reflection and construction.
