The Batchinsky collection is an extensive collection of over half a million items dealing with 19th and 20th century Ukrainian history and politics up to World War II. It includes early pamphlets and runs of rare journals and newspapers. There are extensive holdings of, or related to, particular organizations, such as the Union for the Liberation of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Red Cross Abroad, and the Ukrainian National Republic's Economic-Financial Mission to Western Europe.
