In our times of strife and alienation, the author presents a fresh argument for harmony and togetherness. She has a deep understanding of the human mind through ages in which God eternally leaves His unifying marks. Gods Omnipresence binds our ageless humanity on one hand, and on the other, it directs us to His singular message of Unity. The author essentially focuses on the Unity of God, and articulates its dimensions from the vantage point of her Islamic conviction. In so doing, she places other religions vis--vis Islam and vice versa. In keeping with the spirit of Islam, she never indulges in the denigration of the other. She does encounter anti-Islamism that we see in vogue. Her style is unapologetic and straight to the point. She takes the antagonists to the task. But her tone, all throughout, is one of reconciliation. She seeks to make her audience understand her belief-system, i. e. Islam, and in turn, understand the misunderstanding of Islam by her audience. Her audience, obviously, is Western (if not exclusively), and as such, her arguments flourish in the Western context. She does leave room for the watchful non-Western Muslim and non-Muslim readers to get hold of that context. The book addressing timeless issues is quintessentially timely. Muhammad Mashreque has been a professor of English at Allen University, Columbia, SC. Besides, he works with such organizations as uniting adherents of the Faith ( i. e. CAIR), and promoting ethnic-racial harmony ( i.e. SPLC).

Whether we will admit it or not, it happens all the time. We often judge individuals, families, churches, and other organizations based on a lack of information. We hear something negative about a teenager in our child's class and assume that the parents are slacking off; we get reprimanded by the church greeter for our attire and assume that the whole church is unfriendly and cold; we listen to the news about a greedy CEO and assume the whole company is out to rip us off. Following this train of thought, what do you think of when you hear the name Muhammad? Do you think of a prophet of God sent to the Arabs or do you think of a leader who formed a blood-thirsty religion? Your perception will most likely be skewed by what you know about Muslims today. But that begs the question. What do you really know about Muhammad and Islam? Are you willing to study and learn about his life and teachings? Are you willing to reach across the divide and get to know the descendants of Abraham so that we can relate to them better? Who Was Muhammad? An Analysis of the Prophet of Islam in Light of the Bible and the Quran engages readers in a fascinating study of the life and times of Muhammad from a historical and prophetic standpoint. Pastor Doug Hardt then launches readers into an in-depth study of the Quran and Muhammad's teachings to see if they agree or disagree with the Word of God. This book will deepen your understanding of the origin of the second largest religion in the world.

According to the author, Islam has hidden behind a fa ade of goodness for too long. The time has come to look behind that fa ade and view the malignity at the core of Islam.

Salvation is simple in nature, wonderful in scope, and dynamic in application. The firm foundation of our redemption is based on bedrock truths which frame the content of the gospel of God. In this two-volume set of The Gospel of God Watchman Nee presents the content of God’s salvation, including man’s sin; God’s love, grace, and mercy; the nature of grace; the function of the law and God’s righteousness; the work of Christ and the Holy Spirit; eternal security; and God’s dealing with the believer’s sins. These messages are comprehensive, ranging from man’s sinful condition before salvation to his destiny in the coming age. Christian growth depends upon a dynamically operative faith, and an essential ingredient for growing in Christ is a clear understanding of the truth which supports this faith. Spoken in 1937 in Shanghai, China, these messages effectively demonstrate Watchman Nee’s burden to help all believers in the truth of God’s salvation.

For years, international apologist Josh McDowell has been alert to the challenge of Islam—and how Muslims’ objections to Christianity can raise deep doubts in believers’ minds. His recent on-the-ground research with Muslims in the Middle East has crystallized into this practical resource focusing on Jesus and the gospel. Aided by Islam expert Jim Walker, McDowell lays out the evidence on the crucial issues: What kind of prophet was Jesus? Was he the Messiah? “Son of God”? “Son of Man”? What’s that about? How are God and Jesus related? Can they both be God? The gospel—how could God dishonor his Son by letting him die horribly? What good did his death do? Aren’t the Bible’s accounts of Jesus corrupt? With all this, as well as backgrounder appendixes on the basics, believers will have authoritative evidence from Scripture and history to intelligently deal with Muslims’ questions about and challenges to Christianity.

After Pastoring for five years in Belvidere, Vermont, he finished his third year of Bible College at Faith School of Theology in Charleston, Me. He has served Pastoral ministry in Vermont, New York, New Hampshire and Massachusetts. He presently Pastors Living Waters Assembly of God in Greenfield, Ma. where he has been Pastoring for 21 years. Robert Wise, District Pastor/Superintendent, Southern New EnglandMinistry Network of the Assemblies of God. "I found myself being drawn in as I read and compared the material. Questions I have wrestled with in the past persuaded me to read the material more slowly and watch for evidence of timing. My over all impression was a growing sense of the presence of Jesus as I made my way through the sequences of the scripture. I believe serious bible students and pastors will find your book delightfully informative and inspiring It will prove to be a valuable addition to their libraries and their lives " Dr. Stanley M. Horton, Th.D. Distinguished Professor Emeritus Bible and Theology of Assemblies of God Theological Seminary and Central Bible College, Springfield, Mo. "These chapters in the Gospels are prominent and extremely important. Your comments and arrangement of the parallel chapters are helpful and very well done." Dr. Russell K. Pier, President/Emeritus and Founder of Faith School of Theology, and presently the Founder and Administrator of Pentecostal Conservative School of the Bible. ..".. This is an amazing work of detailed research that would intrigue any serious student of the Bible. I have read many of the harmonies of the Gospels, but nothing that was so focused on these last 10 days in the life of Christ. I recommend this to everyone ..." Dr. Charles Crabtree, President of Zion Bible College, Haverhill, Ma., former Assistant Superintendent of the General Council Assemblies of God. "It was my privilege to receive a copy of the book "The Ten Last Days of Jesus" by David Levandusky. In my opinion, any student of God's Word would benefit from this remarkable tool. It clarifies the final days of Christ in a very simple, graphic and profound way. I believe many will use this special gift to the church of Jesus Christ." Pastor Barry Warren, Pastor of the Greenfield Missionary and Alliance Church, Greenfield, Ma. "Imagine your family sitting in your living room sharing stories of a loved one who had passed away. Each memory shared would be accurate but told through the lens of the individual telling it and as each person shares, a whole picture of the loved one emerges, more complete than any one individual's picture. Similarly, each Gospel writer gives a unique snapshot of Jesus. Pastor Levandusky has done us a great favor by putting the Gospel stories of the most important ten days of the life of Jesus into such a perspective." Pastor Larry Riddle, Pastor of Moores Corner Church, North Leverett, Ma. for 32 years. 1978 - Present. "My dear brother has written an intricate and detailed book of the Last Ten Days of Jesus life that will be a most welcome addition to all Pastors libraries and to the serious student of its word. It is an exhaustive work that required much time and labor and I commend my brother in this fine work."

Book 2 in the 3-book historical Christian fiction series by the New York Times bestselling author of Redeeming Love and A Voice in the Wind. From Francine Rivers comes the “compelling” and “emotionally charged” (Booklist, starred review) second installment in of the story of Hadassah, a courageous Christian slave girl with unrelenting faith, and Marcus, the Roman aristocrat who claims her heart. Believed dead, Hadassah finds employment helping a doctor in the poor section of first-century Rome and discovers an ability to heal others through the power of her faith. When Julia falls ill, Hadassah is forced to confront a difficult decision: should she return to the Valerian household, risking exposure and death, to help her former tormentor in the Christian tradition? Continuing to search for meaning and faith, Marcus turns away from the opulence of Rome, led by a whispering voice from the past into a journey that could set him free from the darkness of his soul. Includes discussion questions suitable for individual use or group discussions. “Francine unlocks the longing in each one of us to connect to God in a deeper, life-changing way. No one reading her books will ever be the same again.” —Debbie Macomber “As we ‘watch’ Hadassah and Atretes struggle through first-century trials, we learn how to handle similar situations in the twenty-first century. The ‘costumes’ may vary, but our Lord does not change.” —Angela Hunt “Francine redefined Christian fiction—honest, unflinching, powerful, life-changing—demonstrating why storytelling is the most effective way to communicate God’s truth. Every Christian novelist writing today owes a debt of gratitude to Francine Rivers for lighting the way.” —Liz Curtis Higgs “Francine Rivers writes from her heart to touch the hearts of her readers. Her books are essential reading for all who love Christian fiction.” —Bodie Thoene “Francine Rivers puts readers right into the history of the moment.” —Romantic Times
