In 2015, the Institute of Medicine (USA) issued a report critical of the research effort and clinical care for ME/CFS (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) formerly known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) and Chronic Fatigue Immune Deficiency Syndrome (CFIDS).
