When writing this book, I assumed that the reader would have already read my first offering, “The Calm Before STORM” which dealt with travels during the first year of our retirement, 2006. If you have not, I suggest you do. Why? Simply, it’s a darn good read. Honestly though, you need not have read “Calm” before this one. “STORM in the Rear-view” will make perfect sense regardless, as I detail our further adventures in the two following years, during which, unknowingly, the GFC and the STORM Financial catastrophe were bearing down upon us. I will take you on a caravan journey right around our beautiful continent of Australia, and our off-shore state, Tasmania, come with us to Johannesburg, South Africa for the birth of our Grandson, climb Mt Kilimanjaro, drive through the Eastern bloc countries of Europe, visit Turkey and Vietnam, along the way catching numerous events of the world’s greatest motor sport, Speedway. You’ll be exhausted but the journey will be well worthwhile. Let’s go!

Rather than deal with the problems he was facing as a recent college grad, Paul Jury decided to leave them in his rearview mirror. He might not have known the direction his life was headed, but he knew the route he was taking to hit all forty-eight contiguous states on one epic road trip. Filled with plenty of adventure and the unforeseen obstacle (or twelve), States of Confusion puts you in shotgun to see where the road takes Paul. All he knows--after crashing on the beer-soaked couch of his younger brother's frat--is that there's no going back.

In the stillness of the courtroom a bookseller stands accused of selling a book. Is it a work of sensitive genius or an execrable volume of pornography? Could it have driven a respectable college boy to commit brutal rape? And who is the author of the novel at the vortex of a storm of sensation and controversy? Michael Barret has been asked by a friend to join him in a small law partnership, but has also been offered a huge salary to go into big business. He's certain of his choice, till he is given a chance to be involved with a major case involved with protecting free speech. The case is about the explicit book "The Seven Minutes", which some people consider pornography, while others, Barret included, feel is impressive literature. The main focus of the prosecution's case is a teenager who bought the book, and was soon after arrested for rape. According to the prosecution, the book insinuated the boy to do what he did, so it must be banned. The novel follows the course of the trial, as both Barret and the prosecutor search for reputable witnesses to prove their side.

Party planner Vicky Stone is on a post-divorce mission. Not only does she intend to land her dream promotion, she's going to indulge in a night of hot hook-up sex. Preferably with the hunky actor she just met at a work function, no-fraternization rules be damned. Fortunately, his drunken directions included a right that should have been a left, landing her in bed with her brother's extra-hot, extra-off-limits best friend instead of the unemployment line. And, oh, he feels good. Too good. Bad boy Dante Palladino's forbidden fantasies are about to come true...until Vicky realizes who she's feeling up. And to find out she risked her job for sex with some loser? Not on his watch. Dante throws down the ultimate, albeit self-serving, blackmail. Vicky will date him-and only him-and her secret will be safe. But Vicky swore never to fall for another guy who could break her heart...and Dante's on course to do just that. Each book in the Gone Hollywood series is STANDALONE: * Tempting Her Fake Fiancé * Blackmailed By The Hero * Playing the Perfect Boyfriend
