Excerpt from A Series of Monographs Concerning the Lincolns and Hardin County, Kentucky Upon his return to his home in Elizabethtown, he was requested to prepare his notes into a series of articles which would appeal to the readers of the Hardin County Enterprise, a semi-weekly newspaper. His first article was published November 28, 1935, and due to the popularity of the monographs the series continued until April 29, 1937. AS a result of the interest manifested in these articles, the Enterprise Press has published the work in book form.
