Report of the Joint Committee on the Penitentiary regarding the expediency of changing the method of selling prison manufactured goods by auction or placing them in commission stores. The committee also noted the advantage of job work, rather than the state expending money to manufacture and sell the goods. Also included was the proceeding of a board of directors meeting on July 15, 1831, in lieu of a minority report of the board.
