Report of evidence taken before the Maryland House Select Committee on the Eastern Shore Rail Road in reference to M. Duval's claim against that company for forfeiture of a contract. Included is the testimony of James W. Collins, a surveyor and general referee, who had been hired by Duval to make an estimate of the excavation and embankments for the company. Also included is the testimony of the superintendent of two divisions of the company, M. Duval's testimony on his own behalf, various accounts from the parties, and a copy of the contested contract.
