Mending Broken Vessels

Book Description

The purpose of this book, Mending Broken Vessels, is to open the Word and show how God can fix all that are broken, Heal all that are hurting, Rebuild that which was torn down. Relationships come and go, but those that remain are tested over time. Then there are some relationships that are supposedly safe-havens to grow and cherish, but that safety can become violated and the results can be devastating. Psalms 34:18 tells us, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

Broken Vessels Restored

Book Description

Many people misunderstand and believe that God created everything within seven days. That's not true and clearly not Biblical. The Bible clearly states that God the Father, Jesus His Son and the Holy Spirit were all present at creation, which only took six days. On the seventh day, they rested. I love the story of creation, because we truly get to see the heart of God in action. We read in the New Testament that anyone who comes to God, must come as a little child. That's why I love the creation story so much, because on the first six days of creation we see where God spoke everything into existence, except one thing! In this little book, you will learn what God didn't speak into existence, and because of that, we can overcome the feeling of being empty on the inside. We can overcome depression and anxiety. We can overcome demonic attacks upon our lives. We can be victorious in Jesus name!

Restore Such a One

Book Description

Widespread deficiencies in spiritual formation see an increasing number of ministers buckle under the significant burdens common to the task. There are seasons when a powerful triad of the flesh, the world, and the devil converge (Eph 2:2–3, cf. Jas 3:15 and 1 John 2:16). Misdirected attempts to fulfill emptiness, find worth, or heal longstanding wounds ensue. Widespread instances of sexual immorality result. Sound exegesis and analysis of theological doctrine presents an allowance, in certain cases, for ministerial restoration. However, this necessitates an intimate and intricate approach that differs significantly from the varied solutions churches and denominations offer. Few restoration programs bring a biblical response to bear. Remarkably rare are restoration programs that look to correct causal factors and commit to congregational care. This program orients itself on an understanding of brokenness and the need for holistic (re)formation. The latter requires fallen ministers to progress beyond biblical confession and repentance to partner with the Holy Spirit and key authorities such as an overseer, mentors, Christian mental health professionals, and a designated congregation. The unitive goal is a “sanctifying psychopathology” that properly diagnoses spiritual and emotional health; eradicates the adverse influences of emotional, cultural, and spiritual factors; and redirects self-oriented patterns of thought and behavior.

Love in a Broken Vessel (Treasures of His Love Book #3)

Book Description

Hosea has been charged by God with a difficult task--marry a prostitute in order to show God's people the nature and depth of his love for Israel. When Hosea goes to Israel to proclaim God's message, the prostitute God tells him to marry turns out to be his childhood friend Gomer. He finds her broken and abused, unwilling to trust Hosea or his God. But when marrying Hosea becomes her only choice, Gomer does what she's good at--she survives. Can Hosea's love for God and God's love for Israel heal Gomer's broken spirit? With her potent combination of in-depth research and masterful storytelling, Mesu Andrews brings to life a complex and fascinating biblical story of the power of love and forgiveness in the face of utter betrayal.

Full Restoration

Book Description

FULL RESTORATION is not just about divorce! There is no other book like this one! Full Restoration reaches out to any Christian who has sinned in his or her past. Gods restoration is never partial, but complete! You can still be used mightily for God! Full Restoration presents a sound interpretation of 1 Timothy 3:2 The pastoral aspirant is to be one who is a "one woman kind of man". It emphasizes this man's present character, not his past sin. Full Restoration shows that there is not a place in the Bible that says men who have sinned in their past lose their giftedness. With confession and repentance they can be used effectively in ministry again! God's forgiveness and restoration is complete. Even Jesus told Peter after his denial of the Lord, "Feed my sheep"! Full Restoration is for all Christians who have fallen into any sin, but are forgiven and desire to serve the Lord again! May the church see its need to discontinue seeing these precious forgiven and gifted saints as second class citizens...but restored persons who will feed Jesus' sheep!
