Excerpt from Overture on Reunion: The Reports of the Joint Committee of the Two General Assemblies of 1866-7, and of the Special Committee of the (N. S.) General Assembly of 1868 Resolved, That, before proceeding to take the vote upon the report of the Special Committee on Reunion, the roll be called, that any member may express his dissent from any article of the proposed terms of Reunion, and that such dissent be entered on the record. In accordance with this action, the roll was called, and the fol lowing members expressed their dissent from the 2d and loth articles of the Basis proposed by the Joint Committee on Reunion.
