So many prophecies were fulfilled at Christ's first advent. He referred to the Scriptures being fulfilled in Him. "He said to them, 'This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets, and the Psalms'" (Luke 24:44). Earlier, Jesus said, "It is written: 'And he was numbered with the transgressors'; and I tell you that this must be fulfilled in me. Yes, what is written about me is reaching its fulfillment" (Luke 22:37). The Apostle John records in the context of Christ's Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem, "At first his disciples did not understand all this. Only after Jesus was glorified did they realize that these things had been written about him and that these things had been done to him" (John 12:16). Terry Lee Burnside served in ministry for over forty years. God has given him the gifts of service and teaching. Since the age of 16, Terry has been teaching God's Word. He retired after serving on staff at Central Church in Collierville, Tennessee for twenty-eight years. Seeing his passion for eschatology, those who had the privilege of sitting under his teaching encouraged him to write a book. Rapture Ready is the result of the support and encouragement given him during his years of ministry. Terry earned a B.A. from Mid-South Bible College and a M.Div. from Reformed Theological Seminary. Terry and his wife, Phyllis, live in Collierville, Tennessee. They have one daughter, three sons, and two grandchildren.
