"Rugby League Badges and Pins" is a comprehensive catalogue of badges and pins for the NSWRL, ARL, SL and the NRL competitions in Australia and issued in club sets for both retail and promotion. The second section represents the collection of club membership badges of NSW, Queensland and the top-tier Sydney Leagues Clubs.The book describes the earliest known pin sets of the 1930s to the 1950s following onto the boom period of promotional badges of the 1960s and 1970s. Since the 1980s there has been a continuous line of official licensees of pin badges in addition to unofficial pins mostly made overseas. The second section of the book relates to the leagues club membership badges of the top tier Sydney competition. Membership badges are also very collectable as they are limited, had a defined purpose and were issued annually in a different design giving it appeal and interest to collectors.Special sections are dedicated in the book for the backs of both pins and badges together with their ephemera.
