This coffee-table pictorial history, in its new paperback edition, celebrates the people, events, and edifices that highlight the city's history. To commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the incorporation of the city, Saskatoon: A History in Photographsdocuments the growth and the successes of the Hub City and its people in the 20th Century. In addition to fostering interest in the history of Saskatoon, and providing an attractive memento of the city's centennial, Saskatoon: A History in Photographsprovides a useful update and companion volume to the long-out-of-print Saskatoon: A Century in Pictures, which was published in 1982. The new book showcases the city's recent history, and the new images that have become available to researchers since the original publication.
