Seedtime and Harvest

Book Description

Originally published in 1956, Seedtime and Harvest focuses on key mystical messages that run through Biblical Scripture, showing how familiar Biblical stories and passages provide insight into the metaphysical principles that form the foundation of physical experience. The tale of Cain and Abel, Jacob’s ladder dream, and many other passages are explored to spark deeper understanding of consciousness and empowerment. Neville intersperses his interpretive insights into scripture with real-life examples of the workings of spiritual law, helping to show how the Bible can provide important guidance to students no longer comfortable with a literal reading and offering insight to those who seek to reconcile their love of the Christian Bible with non-sectarian truths about being and self-hood.

The Miracle of Seed-Faith

Book Description

Oral Roberts was barely making ends meet when he discovered the three key principles of Seed-Faith in God’s Word. “They have never failed me,” he shares. “When I had no earthly source or person to turn to, when I was alone with nothing but big problems and challenges facing me, these principles showed me God is my Source. They showed me how to use my giving as a seed I was planting, and to expect God to multiply it even if it took a miracle.” The Miracle of Seed-Faith has revolutionized the lives of millions of people. As you read it, let God show you how you can get your needs met through His eternal plan of seedtime and harvest, sowing and reaping, giving and receiving. Man’s economic systems may fail, but God’s plan never does. By getting into the rhythm of Seed-Faith living, you’ll learn that His more-than-enough resources are always available to you.

Seedtime and Harvest

Book Description

The title of this book was inspired by the scripture Genesis 8:22, when Noah first settled in after the flood. He made a sacrifice to God and worshipped him, and God said within himself, “While the earth remaineth seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.” I believe that the scripture means that this is how the world works. This is God’s chosen procedure of manifesting in the earth in the title poem “Seedtime and Harvest.” I speak about the dichotomy between the haves and the have-nots and how God uses the lack of something to draw us to him. In life, we seek validation in all the wrong places: wealth, prestige, relationships, and the pride of life. It’s natural for us to desire these things because God put greatness in us. He’s even given us visions of our greatness, but greatness without God is futile. Why? Because there’s no purpose without God. There’s only flesh and fleshly desires that will never be fulfilled. Fulfillment is only in God, so in my walk, I noticed the closer I got to him, the more I wanted to be like him, as shown in the poem “Being the Man.” I give the revelation God gave me about manhood and where my focus should be as a man. He also showed me how to view women in “Why Be a Trophy When You Are a Crown?” I grew up in a hip-hop culture that didn’t respect women. God gave me a revelation not only how to view women but also how to value them in the poem “God Is Love.” God showed me how important it is to be equally yoked (2 Corinthians 6:14). In this book, you will see my journey with God in the poem “God in a Box.” I expressed how God broke the traditional mind state I had. This was accomplished by having my own relationship with Christ, not just knowing about him through my grandparents and to understand that God gave them what they needed for their journey, and what they needed isn’t necessarily what’s needed for my journey today. This book takes you through the highs and lows in my faith (yes, there were times I felt low) with the poems “Why I Worship God” and “The Devil Is Laughing at Me.” Seedtime and Harvest is the process of perfecting the saints. That we’re not perfect but we are perfecting ourselves is expressed in the poem “I’m a Christian, but I’m Not Christ.” I’m proud of the work God has allowed me to accomplish in this book. I pray this book edifies God’s people and glorifies God’s name, in Jesus’s name. Be blessed and enjoy.

Seedtime and Harvest

Book Description

THE GAME OF LIFE TAKES PLACE IN THE MIND Originally published in 1956, Seedtime and Harvest focuses on key mystical messages that run through Biblical Scripture, showing how familiar stories provide insight into the metaphysical principles that form the foundation of physical experience. “What would you think and say and do were you already the one you want to be?” Neville asks as he reveals the spiritual basis of manifestation. “A change of attitude is a change of position on the playing field of life. The game of life is not being played in space and time... the real moves take place within the mind.” NEVILLE GODDARD (1905-1972) was one of the most remarkable mystical thinkers of the past century. In more than ten books and thousands of lectures, Neville expanded on one core principle: the human imagination is God. He was a compelling presence at metaphysical churches, spiritual centers and auditoriums. Neville was not widely known during his lifetime, but today his books and lectures have attained new popularity. His principles have influenced several major spiritual writers, including Carlos Castaneda and Joseph Murphy. In this beautifully designed “deluxe edition” you benefit not only from Neville’s radical statement, but also from a comprehensive and enthralling analysis and biography of Neville, “Chariot of Fire,” by spiritual thinker Mitch Horowitz, who is considered the most powerful interpreter of Neville’s ideas today. Mitch’s comprehensive essay is a spiritual and historical journey in itself. This edition is rounded out with Mitch’s timeline of Neville’s life. Here is a resource book that you will turn to again and again.

The Favor of God

Book Description

The grace of God is often referred to as unmerited favor. In fact, the very meaning of grace is favor. In this extraordinary book written at a time when people need God's favor more than ever, Jerry Savelle shows how the favor of God is not only available to the believer, but also promised. Drawing from his own experience and his deep knowledge of the Scriptures, Dr. Savelle explains how to actively walk and grow in divine favor, and by doing so enjoy the practical as well as the supernatural benefits for such a time as this, when many are living in fear and uncertainty. The Favor of God will not just inspire readers. By God's grace and favor, it will empower them.

Neville Goddard's Interpretation of Scripture

Book Description

From the introduction. Neville Goddard's Interpretation of Scripture is a compilation from Neville's 10 books and a few of his lectures. In my opinion Neville decoded the Bible in such a light that the truth can finally be known. Many who enjoy the old familiar verses of Scripture are discouraged when they themselves try to read the Bible as they would any other book because, quite excusably, they do not understand that the Bible is written in the language of symbolism. Not knowing that all of its characters are personifications of the laws and functions of mind; that the Bible is psychology rather than history, they puzzle their brains over it for a while and then give up. It is all too mystifying. To understand the significance of its imagery, the reader of the Bible must be imaginatively awake. - Neville Goddard Hardcover Edition

Book Description

The whole manifested world goes to show us what use we have made of God's gift. Receiving a gift does not mean that we are going to use it wisely, but we have the gift. Everyone has the gift; and the world simply reflects the use of that gift.In "The Merchant of Venice," Shakespeare puts these words into the mouth of Portia: "If to do were as easy as to know what were good to do, chapels had been churches and poor men's cottages princes palaces. It is a good divine who follows his own instructions. I can easier teach twenty what were good to be done than to be one of the twenty to follow my own teaching."So you and I have been given a gift. To what use have we put it? In a book written in the First Century, written at the time of our Gospel, -- it's called the Hermetica, and this is a translation by Walter Scott. It is a wonderful series of four volumes; and in this he says: "There are two gifts that God has given to man alone, and to no other mortal creature, and these two gifts are Mind and Speech. And the gifts of Mind and Speech are essential and identical with Immortality. If they are used rightly, man will not differ in any respect from the immortals; and when he quits the body, these two will be his guides and they will lead him into the troop of the gods and. to the souls that have attained to bliss."
