Secondary Impacts of Public Investment in Natural Resources

Book Description

Presented here are proceedings of a symposium on secondary impacts on public resource development held in Washington, D.C., September 25-27, 1968. The symposium's principal objective was to summarize and evaluate effects of public investments in natural resources. A subsidiary objective was to provide a setting wherein government and university economists might articulate the theoretical and practical issues in measuring secondary effects of resource development. Such interaction should contribute to orientation and procedures for dealing with problems in the area.
