Jacob Slagle was born in the 1740s. He married Hannah Burrell in Allegheny County, Maryland. They had twelve known children. Jacob died in 1800 in Hampshire County, Virginia. Descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, Maryland, Ohio, Michigan and elsewhere.
