The 2021 Wyoming Specialty Crop Directory contains nearly 800 listings, including producers and the specialty crops they offer, e.g., fresh vegetables and fruits; culinary herbs and spices; honey; homemade goods such as jams, jellies, salsas, barbecue and hot sauces, pickled and fermented vegetables, and fruit pies; wine; and other products. The directory also has listings for farmers’ markets; businesses that sell locally produced specialty crops; school and community gardens; local, state, and national organizations and agencies that are directly involved with agriculture, including specialty crops and food production; and a list of resources to help producers, businesses, organizations, and others build on the local food movement across Wyoming.

This directory is a guide to some of the special crops industry participants in Alberta and the functions they provide. Organizations represented in the directory include seed & equipment dealers, exporters, biological product & fertilizer companies, industry associations, brokers, processors, contractors, plant breeders, retailers, consultants, laboratories, and government departments. The first part is an alphabetical list of special crops with references to the names of industry participants. Those participants are arranged alphabetically in the second section, which provides their addresses, e-mail & Web site information if any, and names of contact persons. The crops covered in the directory include beans, chickpeas, ginseng, hemp, lentils, peas, quinoa, soybeans, sugar beets, wild rice, seabuckthorn, canary seed, and various herbs.
