Excerpt from Land Use Survey and Analysis, Red Springs, North Carolina Economic Study, Land Use Survey and Analysis, Land Development Plan, Community Facilities Plan, Public Improvements Program, Zoning Ordinance, and Subdivision Regulations.is designed to accommodate one family, this land will be classified as single family residential land use. Red Springs Mill would be considered as manufacturing land use and so on. This report is intended to be an inventory of what now exists and how it has come about. The information presented in this report, along with the recently published Population and Economy Study, will set the groundwork for the Land Development Plan which will be presented in a later report. It might also be stated that the primary purpose of the Land Use Survey and Analysis is to explore and analyze the factors that have influenced development and to determine what factors will or should influence development in the future. The land use survey, the mapping of uses, etc., are all necessary steps in making the above determination.
