Ainsworth Mining Division was largely responsible for this loss, both the Blue Bell and Whitewater group mines having produced much less lead in 1010. The greatest falling-oi! Was in the production of the St. Eugene mine, East Kootenay, but the Sullivan's production went against that less, so that the net decrease of the district was reduced to about lbs There were a number of smaller decreases in East Kootenay, Ainsworth. And Slocan. Among the increases were the Standard mine, near Silverton, Slocan, about M; the Emerald, at Salmo, Nelson Mining Division, about lbs; and some smaller gains.
