This separation from immediately surrounding things makes it easily possible to put those out of mind and to think only of what is before the eyes. It is distinctly worth while to give each stereograph this undivided attention, realizing that, for the time, as far as our inner experience goes, we are actually in the presence of whatever the stereograph has to reveal.
