This delightful tale centers around a young naive mouse, named Norbert. He lives with Mom, Dad, and little sister, Marshy, under the roots of an old weathered tree stump. It's cold winter time, and Norbert thinks the family should move to a better place. He is quickly out-voted by his parents, and stubbornly takes matters into his own hands. By light of moon, Norbert slips out into the world to find the family a new home. He soon meets and befriends Lucky, a small lost spider. After danger presents itself, Norbert realizes his error in judgment, and the following morning, hurries back home ... with Lucky. Winter turns to spring, and talk turns to a more important search. With reluctant approval from Norbert's parents, the two friends set out to find Lucky's family. Along the way, Norbert and Lucky meet friend and foe alike. Norbert and Lucky also struggle against Mother Nature, braving unfriendly weather and a perilous vegetable garden. In the midst of these harrowing experiences, a rainbow appears with the promise of hope, optimism, and a treasure greater than all the gold on earth!
