John Harrison lived as early as 1770 in Botetourt County, Virginia where he died about 1785. His son, John (1740-1808) married Mary Malone(1740-1812). They both died in Greenville, South Carolina. Descendants and relatives lived chiefly in Calaway County, Missouri.

Book Description

Col. Jefferson Franklin Jones (1817-1879), son of Thomas G. Jones and Rececca Buxton Snedicor, was born in Montgomery Co., Ky., and died in Callaway Co., Missori. He was married to Sally Ann Jameson (1828-1888) in 1844 in Callaway County. She was born in Fulton, Callaway Co., to Samuel Jameson and Malinda Harris. They were parents of sixteen children. Descendants live in Alabama, Missouri, Ohio, New York and elsewhere. The earliest Jones ancestor, Mosias Jones (d. bef. 1728), died in New Kent Co., Va. and married ca. 1719 Lucy Foster (1697-1750) of New Kent Co., Virginia.

Book Description

The immigrant ancestor, Dave (David) Good (1747?-1841), the son of James Good and Barbara Berry, was born in Ferry Port on Craig, Fife, Scotland. He married 1781 on Long Island, New York, Jane? They were parents of nine children. Oldest child, Elizabeth, was born in New York, N.Y. As loyalist refugees family moved from Long Island to Saint John, New Brunswick in 1783. The rest of their children were born in Kingsclear, N.B. The patriarch of this family was Thomas Guid of Balmerino, Fife, Scotland. He was born ca. 1605/1610. His wife was Euphan Goslen. Their children changed the surname Guid into Good. Descendants live in New Brunswick, British Columbia, Ontario and elsewhere in Canada and also in Maine, Michigan, New Hampshire, Vermont, New Jersey, Florida and elsewhere.
