Powell (1807-1880), Noah Powell (1808-1875) and Alfred Powell (1810-1881), brothers, three of the sons of Joseph Powell and Sarah Alkire, moved from Ohio to Illinois in 1825, and in 1851 they moved to the Willamette Valley of Oregon. Descendants lived in Oregon, California, Washington, Idaho and elsewhere. Ancestors lived in Ohio, Virginia and elsewhere.
