Book Description
The Demon Hunter Gabrielle has long been silent on her past, barely even speaking of it with her devoted, faithful Hell spawn servants, Blaze and Scarlet, merely going so far as saying that when she went home they would go with her. Now she will have to live up to that vow, when a visitor arrives from home, bringing her word that she is being summoned home by none other than the Queen of the Llorn Isles. Not so reluctantly she agrees, for it has been far too long since she left for her duty as a Demon Hunter. Upon arriving home and after seeing her mother, the Demon Hunter reacquaints herself with her siblings, finding things haven't changed with her brothers, but have changed with her sister whom she now gets along with, and who has a request of her. A request that is of a very personal and troubling nature. But being home is not all about drinking, brawling and other family matters, for a messenger, in the form of one of her children arrives with news that threatens her family, and Princess Gabrielle must step aside for Gabrielle the Demon Hunter.
