A diagram has been added to the portion of the chapter on solutions which explains the method Of making weak from strong solutions, and this part has been rewritten on the basis Of the diagram. The author is again indebted to Dr. Cary Eggleston, Of Cornell Medical School, New York City, for his advice and suggestions in this edition.
