Inde pendently of the useful facts which these writers have communicated to their professional brethren, the circumstance of having excited so many individuals to write for the first time, must, we think, be considered as attesting the utility of the Gardener's Magazine; because to induce gardeners to think and to write, is to open up to them new exercises for the mind, a higher class of wishes to be gratified, and, in consequence, a degree of happiness increased in proportion to the exertions necessary for the gratification of these Wishes.
